This is a great healthy side dish!

Recipe Ingredients for Theo' Black eye'd Pea's & Okra

2 cups black eyed peas
2 cups frozen corn
2 cups okra

Recipe Directions for Theo' Black eye'd Pea's & Okra

  1. - 1st add black eyed peas to a pot with a 1/2 cup of water (if these are not frozen or pre cooked peas you will need more water) and let simmer with the top on the pot on medium heat for 15 minutes.

  2. - Add corn and okra Lower heat and continue to let simmer for a additional 20 minutes.

  3. Add any seasonings to your own likings.

  4. NOTE: If you are using frozen vegetables you will not need much water because you will draw the water from the vegetables which will make your veggies more flavorable.
