This is a trial recipe. I haven't tested the final version yet. Thanksgiving is in the title, because if it finishes the way I plan I'll be thankful for a relatively good cookie that is not totally horrible for me! Also, the flavor combination of orange, craisins and pecans reminds me of Thanksgiving.

Recipe Ingredients for "Thanksgiving" Drop Cookie

1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour, processed until fine
1/4 c. Fiber One Cereal, processed until fine
1 c. old fashioned oats
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp orange zest
3 tbsp orange juice
2 tbsp I Can't Believe It's Not Butter
2 tbsp prunes, pureed
1/4 c. craisins, chopped fine
1/4 c. pecan, chopped (optional)

Recipe Directions for "Thanksgiving" Drop Cookie

Preheat oven to 325. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Combine wet ingredients (including the orange zest and puree). Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix just until combined. Fold in craisins and pecans. Drop by tablespoon 2 inches apart, spreading dough slightly. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool on pan for 2--3 minutes. Remove to rack and cool completely.
