Recipe Ingredients for Thanksgiving 2006 cranberry sauce

1 cup splenda granular
1 cup water
12 ounce ocean spray cranberries
1 orange, peeled and pureed (plus I like some zest)
1 apple, peeled and diced
1 pear, peeled and diced
10 dried figs, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Thanksgiving 2006 cranberry sauce

  1. Boil the water in a medium saucepan.

  2. Reduce heat.

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer (with the lid on) for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature before serving or storing.
