Delicious slaw recipe with a Thai flair. Goes well with sliced steak.

Recipe Ingredients for Thai Slaw

6 oz rice noodles
1/2 cup rice vinegar
2 tbs fish sauce
2 tbs sugar
4 cups cabbage
1 1/2 cups carrots
1/2 cup geisha water chestnuts
1 cup basil

Recipe Directions for Thai Slaw

  1. Break rice noodles to bite size pieces. Cook according to package directions and run under cool water.

  2. Whisk vinegar, fish sauce and sugar together in large bowl until sugar is dissolved. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  3. Options: Serve with slices of steak on top. Add mayonnaise to dressing for a creamier texture. Peanuts can also be added.
