This sauce can be used as a base for either a curry or soup. Once sauce has been made, add shredded chicken, cooked carrots, cooked green beans or any other veg of your choice.

Recipe Ingredients for Thai Sauce

2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
250 grams Chicken Stock
400 mL Bart Reduced Fat Cocunut Milk
50 grams Waitrose Cooks Ingredients Thai Red Curry Paste
3 potato medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia) Potatoes, Red, Flesh And Skin

Recipe Directions for Thai Sauce

  1. To make a healthy warming soup/sauce just fdry ry off 2 or 3 chopped onions and a little crushed garlic until starting to soften, (3-5 mins). Add Thai curry paste, stock and coconut milk. Throw in 3 peeled and chopped potatoes and boil for about 15 mins. When potatoes are soft, take off heat and allow to cool slightly. Blend to a smooth consistency.

  2. Your soup/sauce is now ready to add any cooked chicken or cooked veg that you wish. Serve with either rice or noodles.
