Ground spiced up meat in lettuce leaves

Recipe Ingredients for Thai salad (larb)

3 1/2 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp fish sauce
2 tsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tbsp Hot Chili Oil
1 garlic clove
1 lb lean ground turkey
1 red bell pepper
1 medium+apple Apples
2 green onions
1/3 cup cilantro
2 tbsp mint
1/4 cup chopped roasted peanuts
8 Butter lettuce leaves

Recipe Directions for Thai salad (larb)

  1. Make a vinaigrette by combining the first 4 ingredients.

  2. Brown turkey meat in chili oil along with garlic. Add vinaigrette and cook 2 more minutes.

  3. Add bell pepper, apple, green onion, cilantro and mint (all chopped).

  4. Toss to combine. Sprinkle with peanuts.

  5. Serve with butter lettuce and lime wedges.
