Asian-style lettuce wraps with ground pork

Recipe Ingredients for Thai Pork Lettuce Wraps

1240 grams ground pork
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
1 clove garlic
3 cups shredded cabbage, raw
4 teaspoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons tamari
4 tablespoons lime juice
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Recipe Directions for Thai Pork Lettuce Wraps

  1. Brown the pork and onions in a large skillet or wok; drain the fat.

  2. Add the ginger, garlic and slaw mix; stir-fry 2 minutes or until the vegetables have wilted.

  3. Meanwhile, combine the next 6 ingredients in a small bowl then add to the skillet.

  4. Cook and stir constantly 1 minute.

  5. Spoon the meat mixture into lettuce leaves and roll up to eat.
