Barbecued Thai beef skewers with garlic and ginger

Recipe Ingredients for Thai Ginger Beef Skewers

1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tsp Ginger, grated
1 tsp Coriander, chopped
1/4 cup soy sauce, low sodium
1 chili pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp sesame oil
10 oz beef
1/2 red onion
8 mushrooms, medium
1 red pepper

Recipe Directions for Thai Ginger Beef Skewers

  1. In a bowl, combine the juice of half a lemon, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, sesame oil and chili pepper. Mix well

  2. Cut beef into bite sized pieces. Marinate in sauce overnight if possible, or for several hours. Bring to room temperature before cooking.

  3. Cut onion, mushrooms and pepper into bite-sized chunks and mix with beef to coat.

  4. Slide pieces onto skewers, alternating.

  5. Barbecue until cooked, turning every few minutes.
