Recipe borrowed from The Essential Asian Cookbook. Exotic Thai fish cakes, delicious with fresh salad. I like mine spicy.

Recipe Ingredients for Thai Fish Cakes

16 oz (raw) Fish, Tuna, Fresh, Yellowfin, Ahi
0.2 cup Cornstarch
1 tbsp Fish Sauce
1 large Egg, Whole
0.5 oz Cilantro
0.75 Tablespoon Curry Paste
110 grams Beans, Snap, Green
2 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
0.5 cup Olive Oil
2 tsp Pepper, Red Or Cayenne

Recipe Directions for Thai Fish Cakes

Process fish in blender until smooth. Add the cornstarch, fish sauce, egg, cilantro, curry paste and red pepper. Process until well combined. Transfer fish to large bowl. Add the chopped beans and spring onion and mix well. Using wet hand, form into flat patties (approx. 2 tbsp each). Heat oil in frying pan over medium heat. Cook 4 cakes at a time until both sides are golden brown. Drain on paper towels then serve immediately. Accompany with your choice of dipping sauces.
