Lettuce Wraps with a spicy Thai chicken mixture.

Recipe Ingredients for Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps

1/4 chicken breast, sauteed
1 jalapeno pepper, diced
2/3 tbsp orange juice
1/3 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp honey
1/2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
1/2 tsp sriracha
2 tbsp water
1/2 c. dry roasted peanuts, grated
6 romaine lettuce leaves
1/2 tbsp. olive oil

Recipe Directions for Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps

  1. Note: Use Tamarind sauce if available. If Tamarind Sauce is available, replace orange juice and lime juice. (Tamarind sauce wasn't found by the recipe analyzer!)

  2. Cut chicken in 1/2"x1/2" cubes. Sautee in olive oil over medium low heat until browned.

  3. While chicken is cooking, mix tamarind, honey, chili sauce, sriracha and water.

  4. When chicken is browned, add grated peanuts and jalapenos over medium high heat for two minutes. Add sauce mixture. Cook until sauce is thickened or begins to evaporate.

  5. Serve in lettuce leaves.
