A variety of beans in a sweet and sour dressing. Perfect with baked tortilla chips or on its own!

Recipe Ingredients for Texas Caviar--original

3/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp. Water
1 tbsp. Canola Oil
1 cup Sugar
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
15 oz. Pinto Beans (Drained)
15 oz. Garbanzo Beans (Drained)
15 oz. Black Beans (Drained & Rinsed)
15 oz. Black Eyed Peas (Drained)
15 oz. Corn (white) (Drained)
1 cup Red Peppers (chopped)
1 cup Celery (chopped)
1/2 cup Onions (chopped)

Recipe Directions for Texas Caviar--original

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a pan and bring it to a boil. Then let it cool to room temperature.

  2. Combine rest of the ingredients in a bowl. Pour the marinade over once it has cooled and mix it together.

  3. Let it chill for 24 hours.
