this is the best flavor i have had in a chili in a long time. if you were hard core, you could leave out the cheese, but i am willing to sacrifice the calories for it.

Recipe Ingredients for Tex-Mex Turkey Chili

2 tsp olive oil
1 lbs lean ground turkey
1/2 sweet onion
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 green pepper
15 ounce beans, black
15 ounce beans, pinto
10 ounce tomatoes with green chiles
1/2 c cilantro
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Tex-Mex Turkey Chili

  1. heat olive oil and cook turkey thoroughly (7 mins) on med high heat

  2. add onion, pepper, garlic, chili powder, and cumin, cook over medium for 5 mins

  3. add beans and tomatoes with liquid, bring to simmer and cook for 15 mins

  4. season with salt and pepper

  5. stir in cilantro and cheese, and serve

  6. reheats well.
