Recipe Ingredients for Tex/Mex Stew

2 pounds lean beef, cubed
2 cups mexican tomatoes
1 cup black beans
1 cup beef broth, low sodium
1 cup tomato sauce, low sodium
2 cups water
1 cup salsa
1 1/2 cups corn
2 cups carrots, chopped
1 cup green pepper, chopped
1 cup red pepper, chopped
1/4 cup chopped jalapeno
1 cup onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Tex/Mex Stew

Combine all ingredients excepts flour and 1/2 cup water, add to crockpot. Cook on high 4 hours. Blend flour and water and stir into stew. Cook one more hour on medium until thick.
