Very filling slightly Mexican-style stew.

Recipe Ingredients for Tex Mex Stew

8 ounces dried great northern beans
1 1/4 cups
1 can
10 ounces
14 1/2 ounces
1 small onion

Recipe Directions for Tex Mex Stew

  1. Layer beans, 1 package Knorr Spanish rice mix, 1 can diced tomatoes and chiles, 1 can no salt added corn, 1 can stewed tomatoes and 1 small onion. Enough water to bring within 2 inches edge of the crock pot. And seasonings. I used chicken boullion and chili pepper, a generic seasoning salt, and onion powder.

  2. Cook on low 6-8 hours.
