Recipe Ingredients for Tex-Mex Dip

1 pound lean ground beef or ground turkey
32 ounces Tomato Sauce
16 oz Refried Beans, Canned
2 tbs. taco seasoning mix
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. onion flakes
1 tsp. Salsa
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 cup reduced-fat sour cream
1/2 onions (chopped)
1/2 green pepper
1 tomato
1/2 head shredded lettuce
4 oz Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese

Recipe Directions for Tex-Mex Dip

  1. Brown beef or turkey, drain.

  2. Add tomato sauce, beans, and seasoning.

  3. Bring to a boil; simmer 2 to 3 minutes.

  4. Pour into pie plate.

  5. Top with sour cream, vegetables, and cheese. Serve with chips.
