Simple, tasty chili. Just brown, mix, boil and serve. Can also be topped with shredded cheese and/or served with tortilla chips. Weight watchers points = 6.

Recipe Ingredients for Tex-Mex Chili

1 lb ground turkey
14 1/2 oz whole kernel corn, drained
14 1/2 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
29 oz diced tomatoes
3 tbsp minced onions
2 tsp garlic powder
3 tsp paprika
1 tsp crushed red pepper
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
3 cups water

Recipe Directions for Tex-Mex Chili

  1. Brown ground turkey.

  2. In a seperate bowl, mix spices.

  3. In a large pot or dutch oven, add turkey, water, beans, corn, and tomatoes.

  4. Place on stove on high heat.

  5. Stir in spices until mixed well.

  6. Bring to a boil, 6-8 minutes uncovered.

  7. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

  8. Serves eight.
