Recipe Ingredients for Tex-Mex Calzones

8 oz Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast
0.5 cup Onions
0.5 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Green
0.5 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 tbsp Minced Garlic
8 tbsp Salsa Verde
1 package Pizza Crust All Ready
0.5 cup Reduced Fat Mexican Blend Shredded Cheese

Recipe Directions for Tex-Mex Calzones

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  2. cook ground turkey 3 to 5 minutes then add onion, peppers, spices and garlic.

  3. Cook another 5 to 8 minutes until veggies are crisp tender. Remove from heat and stir in salsa.

  4. Unroll canned pizza dough and divide into 4 parts. Roll each section into a 4x6 rectangle.

  5. spoon about 1/2 cup of meat mixture onto one side of each rectangle and top with cheese.

  6. Fold dough over and seal with tines of a fork.

  7. Bake on greased pan for 12 minutes
