Recipe Ingredients for test - peach blueberry muffins

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup bran flakes
1/4 cup sugar
3 ounces honey
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup almonds, toasted, chopped
1 eggs
1 cup milk
1/4 cup applesauce
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup flaxseed, ground
1 1/2 cup peaches, peeled, chopped
1 cup blueberries

Recipe Directions for test - peach blueberry muffins

  1. preheated 350F

  2. Mix the dry ingredients, except ground flaxseeds.

  3. in separate bowl, Whisk ground flaxseed with 1/2 cup milk. let it stand until thickened, approx 5 min.

  4. Combine the remaining ingredients, except peaches and berries and add to the dry mixture, stirring until just moistened.

  5. stir in peaches and berries.

  6. fill muffin tins.

  7. Bake 25-30 minutes in a preheated 350F oven.

  8. DONE: golden brown / toothpick test
