Recipe Ingredients for Tessa's Beach House Pancakes

1 1/4 c buttermilk
1/2 c oats
1/2 t vanilla extract
1 t olive oil
2 egg whites
1 1/4 c wheat flour
2 T brown sugar
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 t salt

Recipe Directions for Tessa's Beach House Pancakes

  1. Combine buttermilk, oats, and vanilla. Let stand, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.

  2. Stir in oil and egg whites.

  3. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, and salt. Add oat mixture to flour mixture, and stir until smooth.

  4. Spoon about 1/3 c batter onto a hot, non-stick griddle (Must not make less than 8 pancakes to keep each pancake to 22 g carb content).
