Vegan tasty burger. Holds together well.

Recipe Ingredients for Terry's Bean Burger

1.5 cup Beans, Kidney, Red, Mature Seeds
1/2 cup Rolled Oats
0.5 cup(195 g) Rice, Brown, Long-grain, Cooked
1 serving Salsa, Mild (La Mexicana)
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Garlic

Recipe Directions for Terry's Bean Burger

  1. Mash beans with potato masher until almost all beans are beyond recognition.

  2. Add dry rolled oats and cooked rice, salsa and spices to taste.

  3. Form into four patties.

  4. Place on plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour or more.

  5. Grill, broil, BBQ or fry in a dry pan about 5 minutes per side.

  6. Serve on a bun, over a salad or bare with a bit of bbq sauce.
