Recipe Ingredients for Terry's 7 Layer dip

16 oz fat free refried beans
1 avocado, mashed
2 teaspoons lime juice, or lemon juice
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
2 teaspoons paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder
1 medium onion, finely diced
2 plum tomatoes, small dice
8 ounces black olives
2 cups cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Terry's 7 Layer dip

  1. Spread refried beans on a 16" round platter. Add lemon juice to the avocado and spread over the beans.

  2. Mix mayo, sour cream and spices together and spread over the the first two layers.

  3. Sprinkle the onion all over the dip. Then layer on tomatoes, black olives, and cheese.
