Recipe Ingredients for Teriyaki Venison and Green Beans

2 T soy sauce
1 T mirin
1 T sugar
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tsp corn starch
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
12 oz venison
2 T soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1/2 T vegetable oil
12 oz green beans
5 cloves garlic
1 T ginger
1 1/2 T vegetable oil
1/4 cup water

Recipe Directions for Teriyaki Venison and Green Beans

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients to make sauce. Set aside.

  2. Combine venison, soy sauce and sugar in bowl. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Combine 1/2 T vegetable oil, minced garlic, and ginger in small bowl. Set aside.

  4. Heat 1 tsp of vegetable oil in wok until nearly smoking. Add meat. Break apart so pieces aren't stuck together. Let sit in pan for a few minutes to brown. Stir until browned on all sides. Remove and put in clean bowl. Wipe out wok.

  5. Heat remaining oil in wok until smoking. Add green beans. Stir fry until brown and spotty. Add the water and cover. Steam for a couple minutes until toothsome. Clear center of pan. Add garlic ginger mix. Mash until aoromatic. Stir into the green beans. Add meat. Stir in sauce. Heat until heated through and thickened. Serve over rice
