Recipe Ingredients for Teriyaki Pineapple Turkey Burger

8 pineapple slices
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
2 pounds ground turkey
1 tsp ginger
1/2 cup bread crumbs

Recipe Directions for Teriyaki Pineapple Turkey Burger

  1. Drain pineapple; reserve 1/2 cup juice.

  2. Stir together teriyaki sauce and reserved pinapple juice in small bowl.

  3. Mix together turkey, ginger, bread crumbs and 1/4 cup teriyaki mixture. Shape into 8 patties.

  4. Grill patties, brushing with remaingt teriyaki mixture, until brown and cooked through.

  5. Place pineapple slices on grill and cook until lightly golden brown.

  6. Serve burgers on buns with optional cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese and pineapple.
