Makes 12 servings



Actually only enough for 4 servings of meat, but less than 1/3 of the oil will be absorbed and coat the meat. Enough for 1 lb flank steak.

Recipe Ingredients for Teriyaki Marinade

1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp ginger
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp honey

Recipe Directions for Teriyaki Marinade

Recipe is in mom's head -- kind of do it by sight - changed it up over the years. Put about enough low sodium soy sauce in bottom of 9x13 to fill about 1/16" - throw in a dollop of olive oil and a little sesame oil (my flavor secret). Sprinkle with sesame seeds and add a big mess of grated fresh ginger (1 T) and a couple of cloves of garlic, smashed. Add about 2 t. of honey or brown sugar. Marinate a couple of hours at least, turning once. Grill. YUM
