Recipe Ingredients for Teriyaki Chicken Fried Rice

3/4 cup water
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
2 tbsp. corn starch
2 tbsp. water
3 cups of brown rice OR white rice
4 egg whites
1/2 lb Chicken Breast (cubed and cooked)
1/2 cup Onion, diced
2 tbsp. Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Teriyaki Chicken Fried Rice

  1. Teriyaki Sauce: Combine first 7 ingredients in a small saucepan and heat to a boil, stirring occasionally.

  2. Mix together corn starch and water; stir into hot mixture. Return to boiling and simmer one minute while stirring constantly. Stir until smooth and thoroughly blended.

  3. Heat 1 T of Olive Oil. Saute Chicken Breast (pre-cooked) and onion. after slightly brown mix with Sauce and set aside.

  4. Heat 1 T of olive oil in same sauce pan. Add rice and egg. Cook on High until Browned.

  5. Mix all ingredients together. Divide into 8.
