Recipe Ingredients for Ten Vegetable Stew (Tom Jabchai)

1 tbs oil
6 cloves garlic
16 oz pork
1/2 cup cilantro
1 tsp salt
1 tsp white pepper
4 cups water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup sugar
4 oz bok choy
4 oz cabbage
4 oz broccoli
4 oz napa cabbage
4 oz celery
4 oz green onions
4 oz chard
4 oz cabbage (swamp)
4 oz carrots
4 oz spinach

Recipe Directions for Ten Vegetable Stew (Tom Jabchai)

  1. Heat a large pot and add the oil and garlic

  2. Add the pork and stir fry for 3 minutes.

  3. Add all the ingredients except the vegetables. Heat to boiling, cover and cook 15 minutes.

  4. Slice the vegetables, add them to the pot and cook for 10 minutes longer.

  5. Serve in a large soup tureen.

  6. Serve with steamed jasmine rice.
