Recipe Ingredients for Teff Banana Pancakes

2 tbsp Flax Seeds
2 medium Banana
1.5 cup Vanilla Soy Milk
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
1 tbsp Honey Squeezable
1.5 1tsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1.5 cup Teff (Tef, T'ef) Flour
15 grams Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

Recipe Directions for Teff Banana Pancakes

  1. 1. Grind flax seeds in a blender until powdery. Add banana, vanilla soy milk, vanilla, honey and 1/2 tsp. oil. Blend well.

  2. 2. In a large bowl, combine Teff flour, baking powder, sea salt and cinnamon. Stir in banana soy milk mixture.

  3. 3. Place the griddle or skillet over medium heat. After a minute brush on one tsp of oil. Scoop about two tablespoons for each pancake

  4. 4. Cook pancakes for 3-4 minutes or until you see tiny holes on the top. Flip over and cook for one more minute.

  5. 5. Serve!
