You can add 3 to 4 tablespoons of poppyseeds and mix them with flour mixture or sprinkle with seseme seeds as I have done

Recipe Ingredients for Tea Cookies

3 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup vegetable oil

Recipe Directions for Tea Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350. In a medium bowl, mix flour and baking powder. If you are adding poppy seeds, add to this mix. In a large bowl, beet the eggs with the sugar and then gradually beat in the oil. Stir the flour mixture into the batter until well blended. Batter will be thick. Drop by teaspoons on a greased or parchment lined baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

  2. Bake for 4 min. Turn baking sheet and continue to bake another 4 min or until cookes are golden brown around the edges and barely golden on top. Remove from oven and transfer to a cooling rack.
