Light and Fluffy Biscuits. Perfect for Strawberry Shortcake or to eat with Jam or Honey.

Recipe Ingredients for Tea Biscuits

2 cups Flour
4 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Shortening
3/4 cup Milk

Recipe Directions for Tea Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.

  2. Blend all dry ingredients.

  3. Cut in Shortening.

  4. Stir in milk with a fork to make fluffy dough.

  5. Flour surface and roll out dough to 1 inch

  6. Cut with biscuit or round cookie cutter.

  7. Bake 12-15 mins.
