This is a lower sodium version of tradional ramen noodles. If you can't find Chinese noodles, angel hair pasta works fine. Also, the recipe says "Low Sodium Soy Sauce" but I prefer dark soy sauce. Anyway, this recipe is one of my favorites, I prefer it over store-bought instant noodles, even the noodles at take-out chinese resteraunts.

Recipe Ingredients for Tasty Ramen Noodles

8 oz chinese noodles, cooked
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup canned corn
2/3 cup chicken, shredded, cooked
1 teaspoon cornstarch

Recipe Directions for Tasty Ramen Noodles

  1. Put broth, soy sauce, peas, corn and chicken in a sauce pan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes

  2. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with 2 teaspoons of cold water and add to the saucepan. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute.

  3. Add the contents of the saucepan to the noodles. Enjoy!
