This fantastic light tartar sauce goes beautifully with grilled or baked fish fillets. Makes 3/4 cup. Serving size: 2 tablespoons

Recipe Ingredients for Tartar Sauce

1/3 cup fat free plain yogurt
2 tablespoons fat free mayonnaise
1 scallion, finely chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped pickles
1 tablespoon chopped capers

Recipe Directions for Tartar Sauce

  1. Spoon yogurt into a strainer lined with paper towels set over a bowl and let drain and thicken for 30 minutes.

  2. In a small bowl combine the drained yogurt, the mayonnaise, scallion, pickles, and capers. Stir to combine.

  3. This sauce will keep for 3 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
