Recipe Ingredients for Tart Filling - Lemon

200 g cottage cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon grated lemon zest

Recipe Directions for Tart Filling - Lemon

  1. In a food processor or electric mixer place the cream cheese and process until smooth.

  2. Add sugar and process until incorporated.

  3. Add eggs, one at a time, and process until thoroughly combined.

  4. Add remaining ingredients and process until well blended and smooth.

  5. Pour filling into pre baked tart shell and bake for approximately 25 - 30 minutes or until filling is set.

  6. Transfer tart to a wire rack to cool and then cover and refrigerate until well chilled, at least an hour.
