This is the closest thing to chicken alfredo that my husband will eat.

Recipe Ingredients for Tarragon Chicken with broccoli and cous cous.

2 cup, cooked Couscous, Cooked
4 breast, bone and skin removed Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
2.5 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Broccoli
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
3 clove Garlic
0.5 cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whipped) Cream, Fluid, Heavy Whipping
2 oz Parmesan, Hard Cheese
1 tsp, leaves Tarragon, Dried
1 tsp Chicken Base
1 tbsp Butter
1 1tsp Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Tarragon Chicken with broccoli and cous cous.

  1. Saute chopped onions in butter and oil 2-3 minutes, add garlic and saute 1-2 min more. Add chopped broccoli florets and 1/2 c water, and let that steam until the broccoli is fork tender. Remove to a bowl and set aside.

  2. Place cream, tarragon, and chicken base in the saute pan. Reduce the cream until it will coat a spoon. Add parmesan and remove from heat.

  3. Separately, broil the chicken breasts until just done. Chop into 1 inch pieces.

  4. Combine everything you've made so far, and serve over cous cous.
