Recipe Ingredients for Tapenade

6 ounces kalamata olives, pitted
3 tbspn capers
1 tbspn lemon juice
2 tbspn olive oil
1/4 tsp black pepper

Recipe Directions for Tapenade

  1. Place everything in a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Add extra olive oil if needed.

  3. Serve on crackers or pita.

  4. Chill in fridge. Can be stored for up to 2 weeks in tight container.

  5. Add other flavours such as different peppers, garlic, anchovy paste, parsely or dried fruit.
