Recipe Ingredients for Tanya's Lasagna

12 oz lasagna
30 oz ricotta cheese
2 cups mozzarella, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
2 eggs
1 tsp dried basil
54 oz spaghetti sauce
1 cup water
1 lb ground beef

Recipe Directions for Tanya's Lasagna

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F

  2. Brown 1lb ground beef in a skillet

  3. In medium bowl combine ricotta, 1cup mozzarella cheese, .25 cup Parmesan cheese, eggs and basil. Mix well.

  4. In another medium bowl, combine spaghetti sauce, water and browned meat. Mix well.

  5. In 9"X13" pan, spread 1.5 cups of meat sauce. Place lasagna noodles, single layered over sauce. Spread .5 of the cheese mixture over lasagna; top with half of the meat sauce.

  6. Repeat layering once. Top with remaining lasagna, then sauce. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

  7. Cover lasagna tightly with foil.

  8. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.

  9. Let stand for 10 minutes sealed in foil before cutting and serving
