8 oz Greek Yogurt
2 clove Garlic
1 tsp Turmeric, Ground
1 tsp Ginger, Ground
1/4 tsp Salt
1 dash Pepper, Black
48 oz Skinless Bone-In Split Breasts
2 medium apple Apples
0.5 oz Cilantro

Recipe Directions for Tandoori Chicken with Yogurt Sauce

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. In a large bowel, mix together 1/2 cup of the yogurt, garlic, turmeric, ginger, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Add chicken; turn to coat.

  2. Transfer the chicken to a rimmed baking sheet. Roast until an instant-read thermometer inserted in the thickest part of the breast registers 160 degrees, 25-30 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, peel the apple; grate coarsely into a bowl. Add the cilantro and the remaining 1/2 cup yogurt, season with salt and pepper. Serve the sauce alongside the chicken and serve with white rice.
