Still trying to perfect this apple crisp recipe but, it is totally sugar free and getting the topping crisp without actual sugar is just a bit tricky. No sugar added Cool Whip would be good on this one but I did not try it because I did not want the rest of the bowl in my fridge.

Recipe Ingredients for Tami Newton's Apple Crisp

3 apples
3 tbsp apple juice (thawed concentrate)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
3 tbsp sugar free syrup
3 tsp Splenda (I am using Truvia)
2 tbsp Smart Balance Light (I use I Can't Believe It's not Butter)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Tami Newton's Apple Crisp
