Tahini is a sesame-seed paste that is a staple of Middle Eastern Cooking. Trader Joe's carries fresh Tahini. It can also be found at Specialty food stores. The dressing is good for Salads and Steamed vegetables.

Recipe Ingredients for Tahini Dressing

8 oz Tahini Sauce
2 oz Lime Juice
3 cloves Garlic (Minced)
1 tbsp Cilantro (Minced)
1 tsp ground Coriander
1/2 tsp ground cumin

Recipe Directions for Tahini Dressing

  1. Add Tahini to small mixing bowl or Salad dressing container.

  2. Squeeze the juice of one lime, or Lemon into container.

  3. Carefully stir tahini lime/lemon mixture

  4. Add 2 Tbsp of minced garlic to mixture, then stir

  5. Add 1 teaspoon ground Coriander

  6. Add 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin.

  7. Mince fresh Cilantro and stir into mixture.

  8. note: 1) Add salt and pepper to taste.

  9. note: 2) Add Cayenne, Chili powder, minced Jalepeno, or Habanero to spice up.

  10. note: 3) Add water to thin texture.
