Recipe Ingredients for tagliolini with almond and basil pesto

4 oz almonds
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup basil
1/8 tsp salt
1 large tomato
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
3 tbsp olive oil
14 oz. whole wheat linguine

Recipe Directions for tagliolini with almond and basil pesto

  1. Chop almonds, garlic and a pinch of salt in food processor until almost smooth. Add basil and tomato and chop until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and oil.

  2. Cook pasta.

  3. Drain and place on the serving dish adding some reserved water if sauce is too dry.
