LaFonda's Tacorito or as close as I can get to it.

Recipe Ingredients for Tacorito

1 can cheddar cheese soup
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 1/4 cups water
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp oregano
4 oz can green chilies
2 lbs hamburger
2 diced onions
12 flour tortillas
3 diced tomatoes
12 cups shredded lettuce
12 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Tacorito

  1. Combine soups, water, spices and chilis and simmer 30 minutes.

  2. Brown hamburger and onion, drain fat. Add some sauce to hamburger. Roll hamburger mix inside tortillas.

  3. Bake 10-20 minutes at 350, pour remaining sauce over shells, smother with lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese.
