I found this in a magazine recently. Very tasty! A little on the spicy side for me, so I think next time I'll add a little bit of fat free sour cream.

Recipe Ingredients for Taco Stuffed Shells

16 oz raw 85% Lean Ground Round
12 tsp Old El Paso Seasoning Mix Taco Less Sodium
4 oz Fat Free Cream Cheese
12 pieces Jumbo Shells
1 cup Sauce, Ready-to-serve, Salsa
8 tbsp Ortega Original Taco Sauce Mild
2 cup Crystal Farms Reduced Fat Cheddar Shredded Cheese
6 oz Tortilla Chips
3 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
1 cup, chopped(160 g) Onions
8 oz Tomato Sauce No Salt Added

Recipe Directions for Taco Stuffed Shells

  1. Brown onions and hamburger. Drain grease. Add taco seasoning and tomato sauce. Simmer 30 mins. Add cream cheese. Simmer until melted. Blend well.

  2. Cook shells. Drain and toss with butter.

  3. Pour salsa into 9 by 13 pan.

  4. Stuff each shell with meat mixture and cover tops of shells with taco sauce.

  5. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

  6. After 30 minutes, uncover and sprinkle with crushed chips and cheeses.

  7. Bake 15 more minutes.
