Taco Soup Recipe

AKA Chili. Quick & easy meal using can of tomatoes, beans, and corn -- including the liquid in cans. Substitued 1 t chili powder for original pkg of taco seasoning. Takes about 30-40 minutes to put together. Serve with usual chili toppings: grated cheese, avocado, sour cream, and/or corn chips.

Recipe Ingredients for Taco Soup

1 lb ground beef
1 med onion, chopped
16 oz tomatoes
16 oz kidney beans
17 oz corn
8 oz tomato sauce
1 t chili powder
1 t cumin
1/2 t salt

Recipe Directions for Taco Soup

Brown beef and drain. Add onion and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered for 15 to 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
