Recipe Ingredients for Taco Soup

1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, diced
1 1/2 cup water
48 ounce ranch style beans, not drained
16 ounce corn, whole kernel, not drained
4 ounce green chilies, chopped
16 ounce diced tomatoes, not drained
1 1/4 ounce taco seasoning mix
15 ounce tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for Taco Soup

  1. Cook ground beef and onion in large pot until meat is brown, stirring until it crumbles; drain.

  2. Add all other ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes.

  3. Can be frozen. Good over tortilla chips. Makes approximately 14 cups.
