Taco Soup W/ Chicken Recipe

This healthy and hearty soup will leave you feeling full and satisified with a fairly small serving. Serving size is about one cup.

Recipe Ingredients for Taco Soup w/ Chicken

114 1/2 grams kidney beans (1 can, undrained)
114 1/2 grams great northern beans (1 can, undrained)
114 1/2 grams black beans (1 can, undrained)
114 1/2 grams pinto beans (1 can, undrained)
114 1/2 grams whole kernel corn (1 can, undrained)
230 grams tomatoes, crushed (29 oz can.)
3 cloves of garlic, minced
3/4 cup onion, minced
16 ounce chicken breasts, boiled and shredded
1 Cooking Spray
1 1/4 ounces Taco Seasoning
1 cup Water, more or less

Recipe Directions for Taco Soup w/ Chicken

  1. You'll also need 1 packet of Ranch dressing seasoning mix. This site didn't have it in its system so it could not add the calories. The calories are minimal but can be determined by dividing the total calories in the pack by the serving size of the soup (10) and add that to the total calories of each soup serving.

  2. Boil chicken breasts with small amount of salt. Shred.

  3. In large soup pot saute onions and garlic in a few sprays of your favorite cooking spray for about 2 to 4 minutes.

  4. Add the remaining ingredients, stir together, bring to boil. Add water at this point if soup is too thick.

  5. Turn heat down to low and simmer for about 30 minutes stirring frequently.
