You can also use chicken instead of beef.

Recipe Ingredients for Taco Salad

1 flour tortilla
1 1/2 cups lettuce
4 oz ground beef
4 tsps taco seasoning mix
3/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3 tbsps fat free sour cream

Recipe Directions for Taco Salad

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Place tortilla in oven safe bowl, bake in oven until lightly browned.

  3. Brown ground beef and add taco seasoning. (Generally done a pound at a time)

  4. Once tortilla bowl is cooled, add lettuce, beef, cheese, and sour cream.

  5. Add any other ingredients you would like. Including, but not limited to, fat-free catalina dressing, taco sauce, diced tomatoes, black olives, or chopped onions.
