Recipe Ingredients for Taco Salad

250 grams Beef, Ground, 95% Lean Meat / 5% Fat, Crumbles
1.5 cup Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds
35 grams Old El Paso Seasoning Mix Taco
0.5 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
0.5 head, medium (6" dia) Lettuce, Iceberg
3 small whole (2-2/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
0.25 cup Refried Beans, Canned
4 tbsp Old El Paso Salsa Thick N Chunky Gotta Have Hot

Recipe Directions for Taco Salad

  1. Mince the onion and fry with the ground beef. Drain the grease and add the chickpeas and taco seasoning. Heat through.

  2. Shred the lettuce, dice the tomatoes and place in separate bowls.

  3. Layer 1/4 c. of lettuce, 1/8 c. tomatoes, 2 T refried beans, beef and bean mixture, salsa and cheese in a bowl. Serve hot.
