Recipe Ingredients for Taco Salad

4 slice Mor-nu, Tofu, Silken, Lite Firm
0.5 small Onions
1 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
4 oz 75% Light Cheddar
1 head, large Lettuce, Iceberg
5 tsp Old El Paso Seasoning Mix Taco Less Sodium
6 tostadas Oven Baked Corn Tostada

Recipe Directions for Taco Salad

  1. 1.crumble silken tofu and add 1/2 pk taco seasoning to it and other spices of yoru choice ( chili, onion, etc). Let tofu sit over night.

  2. 2.Cook tofu like taco package directions. Brown, add water and simmer.

  3. 3 Add tofu taco meat to lettuce and add toppings ofyour choice ( chese, salsa,etc.).

  4. 4. Crumble tostadas and add to salad for crunch. Only need 3-6 for everyone.

  5. *The sour cream and salsa can be mixed to create a dressing or you can simply add to your pile of lettuce and tofu. I suggest measuring cheese to make sure it comes out to a 2 oz per serving.
