Recipe Ingredients for Taco Salad - beef

10 oz Beef, Ground, 95% Lean Meat / 5% Fat, Crumbles
1 1/4 oz Original Taco Seasoning
2 cups spinach
2 cups iceberg lettuce, chopped
1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
1/2 cup tomatos, diced
1/3 cup bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup cucumbers, diced
1/2 cup carrots, sliced thin
1/2 cup onions, minced
2 oz sliced olives
8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
8 oz corn chips, crumbled

Recipe Directions for Taco Salad - beef

  1. Brown and drain ground beef. Add seasoning package and 1 cup wather, allowing to simmer while other ingredients are prepared. Remove from heat when liquid is reduced by 2/3 or more, depending on personal taste.

  2. Mix lettuce, spinach, chopped vegetables, olives and ground beef in salad bowl. Serve with bowls of shredded cheese and crumbled corn chips as garnishment.
