Taco filling - beef, carrot, lettuce and tomato (no cheese). Recipe doesn't include taco shells or bread)

Recipe Ingredients for Taco filling - beef, carrot, lettuce and tomato

500 grams extra lean ground beef
1 medium onion
1 red bell pepper
1 clove garlic
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cups carrot
3 cups lettuce
3 cups tomato

Recipe Directions for Taco filling - beef, carrot, lettuce and tomato

  1. Heat oil in saucepan

  2. Chop onions, bell pepper and garlic finely

  3. Cook onion and garlic for 3 minutes

  4. Add mince and cook until brown

  5. Add bell pepper, chilli powder and tomato sauce and cook 10 minutes

  6. Grate carrot and finely slice lettuce and tomato

  7. Serve in tortilla bread or taco shells
