Taco Casserole Recipe

Double the recipe and freeze one for an easy mid-week meal.

Recipe Ingredients for Taco casserole

2 lbs ground beef
1 onion, chopped
20 oz tater tots
1 can nacho cheese soup
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 taco seasoning

Recipe Directions for Taco casserole

  1. Brown beef and onion. Add taco seasoning and 2/3 cup water. Simmer 10 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, spread half of the tater tots in casserole dish, sprinkle with cheese.

  3. Pour beef over tots.

  4. Spread soup evenly over beef.

  5. Top with remaining tots.

  6. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, or until heated through and tots are crispy.

  7. Serve with sour cream and salsa.
